Tropical Cyclone Intelligence — Florida, 2020

Florida, United StatesJuly 5 – November 14, 20205 events

All five 2020 Atlantic storms whose tracks crossed the Florida region — Fay, Isaias, Marco, Sally, and Eta. Each with its complete IBTrACS lifecycle track (position, winds, pressure, status at 6-hour intervals) and a storm-level assessment covering peak intensity, duration, and basin.

Highlights

  • 5 named storms — Fay, Isaias, Marco, Sally, Eta
  • 323 lifecycle track points with wind, pressure, and status
  • Complete IBTrACS lifecycles per storm
  • Storm-level assessments (peak intensity, duration, basin)

CSV bundle contents

  • hazards.csvone row per storm with flattened assessment + lifecycle dates
  • track_points.csvfull-lifecycle track points (time, lat/lon, wind, pressure, status)
  • README.mdevent table and file descriptions
  • The .ndjson file is the authoritative full-fidelity copy — one complete DisasterAWARE enhanced-hazard object per line.
  • The CSV bundle contains flattened relational views joined on hazard_uuid / uuid. Coordinates are WGS84 (EPSG:4326); geometry columns are WKT.

*The Eta record is labeled "Tropical Cyclone — Theta" in the raw NDJSON (upstream naming quirk). The record correctly carries Eta's track and assessment — the label is being corrected upstream.
